      WHAT: "Popstars 2," the WB television series, will bring it's
        newly named pop group Scene 23 to Sam Goody Central for a
        performance and autograph session on Saturday, December 15. In
        addition, WB will film the event to use in an upcoming episode
        of "Popstars 2."

      WHO: "Popstars 2" chronicles the search for and development of a
        new pop group. The show began with a nationwide search that
        drew thousands of talented aspiring performers - it now tells
        the story of five young adults headed toward stardom.

          The members of Scene 23 hail from diverse individual
        backgrounds and bring a varied assortment of personalities and
        influences to the mix. The five young performers are Monika
        Christian (Arizona/Washington, D.C.), Josh Henderson (Texas),
        Laurie Gildosh (New Jersey), Donovan Green (Maryland) and
        Dorothy Szamborska (Warsaw Poland/New York).

          The original "Popstars" aired on WB last spring. The first
        series documented the creation and evolution of Eden's Crush,
        a female five-some that quickly transcended their prefab
        origins to become one of 2001's most exciting and successful
        new pop acts.
