WHAT: To celebrate Chicago Cubs Baseball and the race for the
pennant, Cub Foods is hosting a free fish fry in the parking
lot of the Elston Avenue Cub Foods store. Die-hard Cubs fans
are invited to stop by and show their support for their
favorite baseball team as they battle the Florida Marlins in
the third game of the seven-game series. Free fish and Cubby
Bear Root Beer, provided by Chicago's landmark Cubby Bear Bar,
will be served to everyone.
Game three will be played on Friday night at Pro Player
Stadium in Florida. The series is currently tied one to one,
after the Cubs topped the Marlins in a 12 to three victory on
Wednesday night in Chicago.
