WHAT: The Blenders are slated to appear at Sears Court in Mall of
America on Saturday, December 14, where they will perform and
autograph copies of their latest holiday album, When It Snows.
WHO: The Blenders, a four-piece vocal group specializing in a
cappella, consists of brothers, Allen and Daren Rust and
childhood friends Tim Kasper and Ryan Lance.
The group formed in 1991 and has since put on shows at
virtually every college campus in the country. They have also
performed as opening acts for Savage Garden, Jay Leno and The
Righteous Brothers. In 1994, The Blenders took home a NECA Act
of the Year award and went on to release albums From the
Mouth, Totally Whipped, Now and Then and Nog, which were all
primarily a cappella.
The Blenders' new album, When It Snows, is the groups seventh
album, and blends a combination of new holiday music along
with some of their classic hits.
