    WHAT: Pop Superstar Nick Carter is slated to appear in Sam Goody
        Central at Mall of America on Thursday, October 31. During his
        visit he will autograph copies of his debut, solo album Now or
        Never. This will be one of only two autograph sessions
        nationally in support of the album which releases October 29.

    WHO: Nick Carter is best known as one of the five members of the
        multi-platinum, pop group the Backstreet Boys.

        Today, Carter hopes to repeat this success with the release of
        his solo debut Now or Never. The album gets personal and tells
        stories of life, love and growing up. Carter co-wrote most of
        the songs on this album including "I Stand For You," and "Is
        It Saturday Yet."

        Additionally, Carter will make his acting debut in an episode
        of NBC's new drama, American Dreams on November 3. The episode
        will feature Carter singing as the frontman of Jay & the
        Americans. Carter also was recently named one of the "Sexiest
        Males" by Cosmo Girl magazine.
