What: Minnesota Vikings running back Michael Bennett will appear
at the newly-opened Best Buy store in Coon Rapids on Saturday,
June 15, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Fans are encouraged to bring
Vikings memorabilia for Bennett to autograph.
With 682 yards, Bennett ranks third in Viking history for
rushing by a rookie. Bennett was Minnesota's first-round
choice for 2001, and the first running back selected by the
team in the first-round since 1993.
The Coon Rapids location grand-opening on Friday, June 14, is
the first Best Buy store to open in the Twin Cities area since
1999. Coon Rapids also is the first Twin Cities Best Buy to
feature the new store concept and design introduced last fall.
