    WHAT: John Tesh is slated to appear at Sam Goody Central on
        Sunday, December 15, where he will perform and autograph
        copies of his recent album, Christmas Worship.

    WHO: John Tesh began playing the piano at the age of 6, but it
        wasn't until 1988 when his first album, Tour de France, was
        released and proved his music had a growing audience.

        Prior to his music career, Tesh was an anchor at the CBS
        network's New York City affiliate and in 1981 joined CBS
        Sports as a commentator. Soon after, he left CBS to host
        Entertainment Tonight but continued to pursue music and in
        1989 his debut album, Garden City, lead him to a Grammy
        nomination. In 1991, Tesh won a pair of Emmy's and a year
        later he formed his own label, GTS, and released Romantic
        Christmas, his biggest hit to date.

        Christmas Worship is his first Christmas album in seven years
        and includes the new hit song "It Wouldn't Be Christmas
        (Without You)."
