    WHO: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix -- the fifth book
        in the J.K. Rowling series -- goes on sale at all Media Play
        stores at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, June 21. The book will retail
        at Media Play stores for $17.97 --over 40 percent off the
        suggested retail price.

    WHAT: The early store opening will allow fans to get one of the
        first copies of this 886 page book. With Scholastic printing
        6.5 million copies, this is the largest first print of any
        book in history and the biggest book phenomenon of the year.

        Media Play stores will host a variety of games, activities and
        give-aways from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 21 to
        honor the release of the book. Other Harry Potter products
        will also be available for purchase, and all regularly priced
        books will be on sale for 25 percent off the publisher's
        price.

        Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is also available
        for sale on the Media Play Web site at www.mediaplay.com.

        To date the stores within the Musicland chain (Sam Goody,
        Media Play and Suncoast) have had over 50,000 reservations for
        this book.

        the book.

        Media Play stores will open again at 8 a.m. Saturday, June 21.
