    WHAT: Author E. Lynn Harris is slated to autograph his latest
        novel A Love of My Own, on Saturday, August 3, at Media Play
        in Tel Twelve Mall.

    WHO: E. Lynn Harris graduated from the University of Arkansas at
        Fayetteville with a degree in journalism. After working in
        sales for thirteen years, he quit and wrote his first novel
        Invisible Life in 1991.

        Following the personal success he experienced while publishing
        Invisible Life himself, Harris was discovered by Anchor books
        in 1994 and became a best selling author. His novel, Not A Day
        Goes By, debuted at #2 on the New York Times bestseller list
        and was a #1 Publishers Weekly bestseller for two weeks.

        E. Lynn Harris has been nominated for, as well as received,
        numerous awards for his writing. His novels If This World Were
        Mine and Abide With Me were nominated for a NAACP Image Award
        and he was awarded the Novel of the Year Prize in 1996 for
        Just As I Am. His new novel A Love of My Own goes on sale
        nationally July 30, 2002.
