What: Best Buy, North America's leading specialty retailer of
consumer electronics, personal computers, entertainment
software and appliances, will host a Town Hall Meeting with
Treasury Secretary John Snow, Commerce Secretary Don Evans
and Labor Secretary Elaine L. Chao on Wednesday, July 30.
The Cabinet members are visiting businesses in Minnesota and
Wisconsin on Tuesday, July 29, and Wednesday, July 30,
discussing the state of the economy and the recently enacted
jobs and growth plan, as well as other efforts by President
Bush to create jobs, strengthen the economic recovery and
increase workers' standards of living.
As retail plays a critical role in the American economy and
is a clear indicator of its health, the cabinet members
chose Best Buy as the last stop on the tour.

1 p.m. Local media arrive, check credentials and set up

2 - 3 p.m. Best Buy CEO, Brad Anderson, introduces Cabinet
members; Snow, Evans and Chao discuss President
Bush's Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Program and the
state of the economy with Best Buy employees
