Thousands of Bargains to be Found at Fundraiser

for the United Way Best Buy's Eden Prairie HQ -

Saturday, September 29 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

      What: After last year's great success, Best Buy is hosting its
        second annual garage sale for charity. Employees of the
        consumer-electronics retailer have donated thousands of items
        for sale including used boats, jet skis and cars, with all
        proceeds going to the United Way. There will also be an arts
        and crafts bizarre.

          "Best Buy mascots" will be on hand to add to the fun.
        Admission is free and the event is open to the public.

      Where: I.S. building of Best Buy Corporate Campus - 10050
        Crosstown Circle, Eden Prairie (the multi-story building
        visible at the southwest intersection of Hwy. 169 and Hwy.
        212)

          Directions: Take Hwy. 212 west to Shady Oak Road exit in Eden
        Prairie. Turn left (south), crossing over 212, and take a left
        (east) at the frontage road, a.k.a. Flying Cloud Drive. Take
        another left onto Crosstown Circle. Best Buy entrance on the
        right.

      When: Saturday, September 29
          7 a.m.-2 p.m.

      Why: The garage sale ends a week-long United Way fundraising
        campaign at the Best Buy headquarters. The corporate campaign
        is expected to raise more than a half million dollars for
        United Way programs.
