What: The Best Buy Fun Zone Technology Truck, a mobile marketing
and entertainment destination, is available for media tours.
The traveling Fun Zone features:
-- Kiosks with interactive gaming and digital music zones.
-- The latest technology offered at Best Buy stores,
including products featured in integrated home office,
high-definition home theater and high-tech kitchen
settings.
-- An expandable stage for events.
This Fun Zone features a home environment with home
integration and satellite connectivity within the 53-foot
trailer. Seven televisions and two computers display
dynamic content streamed through an advanced networking
solution. The trailer also features a cutting-edge
satellite two-way high-speed Internet connection that
provides high-performance broadband delivery for both
uploading and downloading.
Consumers who visit The Ice Village can tour the Technology
Truck to experience all of the technology first-hand and
discover new ways to integrate the products into their
lives, helping to make their time more fun and productive.
The Mountain Dew Ice Village is an affordable alternative
sports, entertainment, and interactive experience for
visitors, action sports and music fans, and Olympic
athletes. The Ice Village will host a concert series
featuring performances from top musicians and
demonstrations from more than 150 extreme sports athletes.
