WHAT: Philadelphia Senior Center "launches" Senator John

Glenn's historic flight and research mission with a

"John Glenn Blast Day" on Thursday, Oct. 29. At 10

a.m., The Franklin Institute's Traveling Science Show

year. Glenn's endeavor at age 77 has members of PSC

feeling proud as one of their generation trains and

prepares for a return to space after 36 years. PSC

launched an educational journey in early October with

the introduction of the John Glenn Blast Series. The
