Hosted by the Society of Clinical Data Management (SCDM), "The State of Clinical Data Management as the Millennium Unfolds" Conference will educate attendees about methods available for producing high quality databases that are both cost effective and time efficient. Attendees will also learn: good clinical data management practices; innovative approaches to capturing data without Case Report Forms (CRF); and, the art of coding clinical data.

In booths 7 and 8, the Company will demonstrate the latest version of its industry-leading InForm software solution, a Web-based clinical trial environment optimized for multi-trial support on a single server. The InForm software enables Phase Forward's pharmaceutical and contract research organization (CRO) customers to drastically reduce the effort and costs required to support multiple clinical trials.

Phase Forward's Jeffrey Klofft will present as part of the "New Technology in Support of Clinical Data Management (CDM)" session to focus on new technologies which speed clinical data management, while simultaneously enhancing the quality of the data. Specifically, Mr. Klofft will educate the audience about electronic submissions, how to make electronic data capture user-friendly and, how e-business technologies can accelerate drug delivery.

Mr. Klofft brings to Phase Forward more than 15 years of experience in the definition, development, delivery, and support of software products. Most recently, he served as the Vice President of Product Development and Chief Technology Officer of Banyan Systems, where he managed the transition from proprietary network solutions to standards based, intranet solutions. Previously, Mr. Klofft was Vice President and General Manager of the Sybase Systems Management Products Group. He holds a B.S.C.S. from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
