WHAT:     Pan Am is volunteering a Mercy Flight to carry 30,000 pounds
          of relief supplies to the Sammy Sosa foundation in the
          Dominican Republic.

WHEN:     Tuesday, Oct. 27.  Charter flight departs 2 p.m., loading
          from 12 noon.

WHERE:    Pan Am Hangar - Fort Lauderdale Airport
          1401 S.W. 39th St.
          South-West corner of airport.

NOTE:     The media is invited to join the flight and report on
          activities at the Santo Domingo Airport where Sammy Sosa
          will meet the aircraft.  The flight will return
