The "free" money will be handed out at the Fred Jordan Mission at 5th and Towne streets beginning at 1 p.m. on Monday, Christmas Day.

The Christmas gift will be given to the poor and homeless, larger amounts to mothers with children; and a number of one-hundred-dollar bills to the poorest and very neediest.
