As part of the celebration, a series of events has been scheduled to reflect the activities that surrounded the opening of the Space Needle and the 1962 World's Fair. On July 14, the Olympic Brass Ensemble will take stage to pay tribute to the chamber bands that performed at the Century 21 Exhibition. The five-piece band, led by Gordon Ullmann, consists of two trumpets, a horn, a trombone trombone [Ital.,=large trumpet], brass wind musical instrument of cylindrical bore, twice bent on itself, having a sliding section that lengthens or shortens it and thus regulates the pitch.
