WHO & WHAT: Olympic Gold Medalist Bruce Jenner will host Slim Down
America 2003 -- an event focusing on how to lead a
healthy lifestyle with proper diet and exercise. He will
be joined by fellow Olympic stars including Gold Medalist
Mitch Gaylord, Bronze Medalist Amanda Beard and
Volleyball star Holly McPeak to raise awareness about the
increasing epidemic of overweight Americans and ways to
achieve a healthy permanent weight loss.
With approximately 80% of Americans categorized as being
overweight, Jamieson Laboratories, a leader in vitamin
and nutritional supplement development, agreed to host
this event at which U.S. Olympians will discuss the
importance of a slow, healthy weight loss process and
explain why crash dieting is not the answer. Penny
Kendall-Reed ND, author of "The Naturopathic Diet," will
reveal new survey findings about America's struggle with
weight and clinical trial results surrounding the success
of the herbal dietary supplement Ultra Slim Down. She
will provide tips for sticking with New Year's
Resolutions to keep off unwanted pounds.
