According to Carter-Miller, the three-day conference features outstanding keynote presentations, insightful business sessions targeted to the specific interests and needs of small business owners and entrepreneurs. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact and network with the panelists and other conference participants.

Emcee

Alexis Herman, Former Secretary of Labor (1997-2001), will serve as emcee for the conference. Herman was a featured keynote presenter and kicked off the conference in 2003.

Keynotes

On Sunday evening, February 22, the Honorable Hillary Rodham Clinton will kick off the conference and deliver a keynote presentation, which will be followed by a networking reception.

"The number of successful women-owned businesses is growing every year in every state in the nation. Women entrepreneurs have truly become a driving force in the nation's economy," noted Clinton.

"I'm thrilled to kick off Office Depot's conference, which celebrates and recognizes proven leaders in our country - women," said Clinton, a strong supporter of many women's initiatives.

Kicking off the conference the morning of Monday, February 23, will be Dawn Hudson, President of Pepsi-Cola North America.

Later that evening, Office Depot will host its Success Strategies Awards Gala, which honors the accomplishments of women leaders and entrepreneurs who are shaping today's economy by presenting its Office Depot Visionary Awards.
