What: Eight youngsters who kicked, passed and punted their way to
the Football Frenzy finals will compete in a pre-game
championship at the Rose Bowl. For the fourth consecutive
season, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power
(LADWP), has teamed up with UCLA to offer Football Frenzy, a
kick, pass and punt competition. The finalists, broken into
four age categories (7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-15), competed
in two skills competitions held in October and November at
recreation centers in Los Angeles.
When: Saturday, Dec. 1
9:45 a.m. -- All contestants and staff meet at the Fox
Sports AM 1150 Tent located outside of Rose Bowl
10 a.m. -- Competition begins on the field in the Rose Bowl
with awards ceremony immediately following at Fox Sports AM
