Doug Green, vice president of marketing at Ocular Networks--a
developer of next-generation optical networking solutions for the
metropolitan edge--will speak tomorrow at USTA's Technical Disciplines
Conference and Expo, taking place April 1-4, 2001, in Tempe, Ariz.
Green will present "Optics-Based Services for Core Business
Applications" during a panel session on Tuesday, April 3, from
1:00-2:30 PM. Other panel members include Paul Fagan of Actelis
Networks and Joe Dooley of Optical Solutions.

Prior to Ocular Networks, Green was the vice president of
marketing at Chromatis Networks, where he lead the company them from
early startup stage to a market leadership position. Earlier, Green
was director of product marketing for Ciena Communications' long-haul
Dense Wave Division Multiplexing (DWDM) products, helping to solidify
Ciena's industry-leading position in that segment. Green also held
marketing and product development management positions at NetEdge
Systems and IBM Networking Systems. He holds an MBA from Duke
University and a BSEE from Auburn University.
