WHAT/: Most businesses think they really know their customers
WHO and understand their true wants and needs. Today's consumer,
however, takes issue with that notion. Many seek to be
recognized as individuals and demand that business be
       conducted on their terms.

Author and management consultant Fred Crawford will discuss
the revolution being led by the 21st century consumer against
the "business as usual" concept. In his keynote, "The Myth of
Excellence: Striving for Consumer Relevancy," Crawford will
share proven strategies for meeting the demands of today's
empowered customers - those who are crying out for respect,
dignity, and service. In addition, Crawford will provide new
and useful insights into the startling changes taking place
       before our very eyes.

Crawford is Executive Vice President at Cap Gemini Ernst &
Young and Global Managing Director of the Consumer Products,
Retail and Distribution practice. He and co-author Ryan
Mathews wrote the best-selling book, "The Myth of Excellence,
Why Great Companies Never Try to Be the Best at Everything."
