The equipment was purchased through a federal grant of approximately $250,000 obtained by CPDC, a nonprofit community organization, from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD Hud (h d), a pre-Qur'anic prophet of Islam. At the presentation ceremony, a wide variety of the equipment will be displayed, including: computers and networking equipment, digital cameras, color laser jet printers, night vision binoculars, breaching tools and patrol bicycles with NightRider flashing lights and sirens. LAPD and FBI officials will be on hand to comment on the need for and usage of this equipment.
