WHAT:   Wells Fargo the number one ranked internet bank and Spanish
        banking site, will introduce the next generation of online
        services in Spanish to better serve Latino homebuyers, small
        businesses and consumers. Today, Latinos are the largest
        minority group online, representing 12.5 million users,
        according to comScore Media Metrix.

        --  Wells Fargo's new educational centers in Spanish around
            small business, homebuyers and consumers are part of an
            online financial literacy program called "El Futuro en Tus
            Manos" that provides tips and tools on buying a house,
            establishing a business and money management.

        --  "Servicios en Espanol" -- a one-stop online resource to
            research financial options, credit products and services
            -- will for the first time allow consumers to apply online
            in Spanish for checking and savings accounts online.

        --  Also, for the first time, consumers can apply online in
            Spanish for InterCuenta Express(R) a service that allows
            Mexicans in the United States to send funds to their
            families through a Wells Fargo account.
