WHAT:  The Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs
       (WASPC) will announce the development of a new statewide sex
       offender database designed to better inform the public on the
       location of Washington State's most serious sex offenders. The
       event will include a demonstration of the new Internet based
       database and will be attended by the executive director of
       WASPC and representatives of the high technology community
       responsible for the development of the sex offender website.

WHEN:  Tuesday, April 22, 2003
       9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

WHERE: Washington Criminal Justice Training Commission
       19010 First Avenue South
       Burien, WA 98148
       The event will be held in the Auditorium.

       Military Rd exit number 151 toward S. 200th St. Turn Left onto

WHO:   The demonstration features a complete overview of the sex
       offender web-site and Q&A session with the executive director
       of WASPC.
