Its name is officially rendered in all caps as “PGA TOUR".  Winner Jason Gore Jason William Gore (born May 17, 1974) is an American professional golfer.

Gore was born in Van Nuys, California. He attended Pepperdine University. Gore plays on the PGA Tour after moving from the Nationwide Tour midseason in 2005.

      can go head-to-head against eight Official World Ranked players
      in a first-of-its-kind event during Professional Golf's
      Challenge Season. The Gauntlet Match Play Challenge will take
      place December 4-10, 2006 at Andalusia Country Club in La
      Quinta, Calif.

      Eight world-ranked players pitted against the non-cardholder
      qualifiers - the best untapped golf talent not on a major tour
      - looking to win their share of a $5 million purse. Qualifying
      for the Gauntlet Match Play Challenge will take place at local
      and regional qualifying sites throughout the country.

      Jason Gore, winner of the 2005 84 Lumber Classic, will be on
      hand to help introduce the Rees Jones designed course and the
      tournament format.
