What:                News conference to announce results of the most
                     extensive polling ever on completion of the 710
                     Freeway. City of Los Angeles voters were found to
                     favor its completion by a ratio of 6 to 1! Twelve
                     other jurisdictions were polled.

When:                Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at 10:00 a.m.

Where:               Luminarias Restaurant, 3500 Ramona Rd.,
                     Monterey Park, overlooking the I-10/I-710
                     Interchange to the southeast.

Background:          The issue of completing the 710 Freeway has
                     sometimes been labeled "controversial." But is
                     it? Not with the voters!! Not according to the
                     polls!! Not according to its need!!

Directions:

From the West:       I-10 east. Exit Eastern Ave., but do NOT turn on
                     Eastern. Straight on Ramona Blvd.; continue
                     straight past 5 lights. After the 5th light, turn
                     right, uphill, at the Luminarias sign.

From the East:       I-10 west. Exit Eastern Ave. Left on Campus Rd.
                     Left on Ramona, passing 4 lights. After the 4th
                     light, turn right, uphill, at the Luminarias
                     sign.

From the North:      South on Atlantic Blvd. Right on Garvey Ave.
                     Straight on Garvey for about a mile. Left on
                     Ramona for 1/4 mile. Left, uphill, at the
                     Luminarias sign.

From the South:      I-710 north. Exit on Ramona Blvd. but do NOT turn
                     on Ramona. Continue straight up the hill.
