WHAT:             On screen, "ER" Actress Alex Kingston is an M.D.
                  with the ability to save lives. But off screen,
                  you'll see her in the role she plays best -- mother
                  and wife -- as she trades her stethoscope and scrubs
                  for a hard hat and blue jeans. Having recently given
                  birth to her new daughter at Santa Monica-UCLA
                  Medical Center, Kingston will help the facility
                  "give birth" to a new era of healthcare as ground is
                  broken for the new Santa Monica-UCLA and Orthopaedic
                  Hospital in Santa Monica.

                  Celebrating their 75th and 90th anniversaries, Santa
                  Monica-UCLA and Orthopaedic Hospital host an
                  afternoon of festivities, where you'll see the magic
                  of construction from the ground up as a lifelike
                  balloon replica of the new hospital dramatically
                  inflates before your eyes. Additionally, the
                  Groundbreaking event will feature an autograph
                  signing with Alex Kingston, as well as a community
                  street festival with free health screenings, great
                  free food from neighborhood restaurants, live music
                  and other fun and games! As the facilities look back
                  on their years of service to the community, the
                  event will also include a retrospective vintage
                  fashion show and antique car expo.
