Artist Thomas Bintz, aka "Capt.  gun. His fish assemblages and fish tales have been shown, shared and enjoyed in museums, schools, hospitals, jail, nature centers, aquariums, airports, art centers, universities, hotels, galleries, juke joints, liquor stores, general stores and cafes.

The 1996 "Funked Up Fish" exhibition traveled to the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall in Ft. Myers, FL, the Mt. Dora Center for the Arts in Mt. Dora, FL and the Lake Placid Center for the Arts in Lake Placid, NY. In 1998 Bintz was a finalist in the Tampa International Airport Tampa International Airport (IATA: TPA, ICAO: KTPA, FAA LID: TPA) is a public airport located six miles (10 km) west of the central business district of Tampa, in Hillsborough County, Florida, United States.  "Art in the Airport" Project.

"Fabricated Fish Tales" opened in the Tallahassee City Hall Gallery January 4 and will run through February 15. It is sponsored by the Cultural Resources Commission for Tallahassee and Leon County. The exhibit will travel to the IGFA IGFA International Game Fish Association

 Fishing Hall of Fame & Museum where it will be displayed from March 3 - June 18, 2001. The local sponsors are the International Game Fish Association and Wheelabrator, the nationally known recycling company, a logical match. The exhibition will then travel to the Museum of Art and History at the Customs House in Key West.
