WHAT:   NeoPoint Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President
        William Son will formally present NeoPoint's "Simply More
        Intelligent" Scholarship recipient Jason Remple with a
        life-size check for $5,000.

        Remple, a senior honors student from Serra High School, was
        selected as the scholarship recipient for demonstrating
        excellence in academics, entrepreneurial spirit, interest in
        technology and strong community involvement. Remple, who will
        attend UCLA in the fall and major in electrical engineering,
        has maintained a 4.0 grade point average at Serra while
        serving as captain of his school's academic league and
        wrestling teams during the past two years.
