What: Senator John Kerry (D-MA) will not be able to
participate in the National Urban League's Economic
Opportunity Institute occurring at George Mason
University in Arlington, VA, this evening.
The Senator who was originally scheduled to speak at the
League's Economic Opportunity Institute (EOI) regretfully
had to cancel because of his participation in the Houston,
Texas Memorial Service on behalf of the seven-member crew of
the Columbia shuttle.
EOI is a six-day training academy devoted to developing the
entrepreneurship and revenue-building skills of Urban League
affiliate CEOs. The Institute began training on Sunday,
February 2nd and will continue through Saturday, February
8th, in Arlington, Virginia at George Mason University. More
than 30 Urban League affiliate CEOs from across the nation
will attend the training Institute.
