The PENJERDEL Council, The Rebuild the Delaware Valley The Delaware Valley is the name of the metropolitan area centered on the city of Philadelphia in the United States. The region is named for the Delaware River which flows through it.  Coalition and the Rebuild America Coalition are presenting a major transportation infrastructure conference entitled, "Fragile Foundations: A Summit for Rebuilding America's Infrastructure".

The Rebuild the Delaware Valley Coalition, which is managed by The PENJERDEL Council, is committed to improving the conditions of the transportation infrastructure in The Delaware Valley.

With Fragile Foundations, Rebuild intends to move the subject of infrastructure to the forefront of the public discourse, highlight innovations in funding and operations that have been successful throughout the nation and encourage decisive regional action to upgrade regional transportation systems.

The PENJERDEL Council is the regional organization committed to creating a competitive efficient, mobile region which enjoys the highest quality of life. With member is southeastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Northern Delaware, the Council is uniquely positioned to focus on and find clear-cut solutions to local, state and federal issues.
