Downtown Los Angeles Downtown Los Angeles is the central business district of Los Angeles, California, located close to the geographic center of the metropolitan area. The sprawling, multi-centered megacity is such that its downtown core is often considered just another district like Hollywood or , with its acres of undeveloped land, its position as the hub of region-wide transportation, high-profile office buildings and thousands of workers, continues to be an urban core without a 24-hour community.

Congressman Earl Blumenauer Earl Blumenauer (born August 16, 1948) is a Democratic U.S. representative from Oregon, representing Oregon's 3rd congressional district.
