Private Seminar
An educational wine seminar and tasting prior to the
main event will feature panelists Joel Butler and Joel
Aiken, Beaulieu Vineyards; Sal De Ianni, Truchard
Vineyards; Norm Kiken, Reverie on Diamond Mountain;
and, Jim Frisinger, BeringerVineyards. The winemakers
will share five pairs of 2003 Merlot barrel samples,
to taste for the influence of differing Napa Valley
soils and appellations.
3:00-5:30 p.m.
Private Trade and Press Tasting
More than 90 Napa Valley vintners will be pouring
their current releases, as well as select Premiere
Napa Valley wines.
