ADVISORY/NSU'S Institute for Retired Professionals to Hold Open House Oct. 15.

WHAT:             The Institute for Retired Professionals (IRP) at Nova
          Southeastern University will kick off its 1998-99 session
          with an Open House. Now in its 22nd year of existence,
          the IRP is an innovative continuing education program for
          retired and semi-retired professionals.
WHEN:             Thursday, Oct. 15, 1998 at 1 p.m.
WHERE:             Nova Southeastern University/University Park Plaza
           Lecture Hall
          3424 South University Drive
          Fort Lauderdale
COST:             There is no charge to attend the event.  The membership
          fee for the 1998-99 session is $275 per person, or
          $500 per couple.  Prospective members can sample two
          classes at no charge, or sign up for a four-week trial
          membership at a cost of $100.
BACKGROUND
INFORMATION: The Open House will be a chance for new and prospective
          members to meet IRP faculty and staff, guest lecturers,
          peer presenters, as well as NSU officials and other local
          V.I.P.s. Classes will begin on the following Monday,
          Oct. 19, and continue through April 1999.  The IRP offers
          a wide range of courses and lectures which are conducted
          by NSU faculty members, guest speakers, and IRP members.
          Topics run the gamut from current events, politics and
          economics to storytelling, writing workshops, film
          reviews, and much more. In addition to the regularly
          scheduled classes, members also participate in study
          trips to places of interest such as museums, art
          galleries, concerts, the ballet, and the theater.
