WHAT:   Children's book author N.K. Stouffer, who in the 1980s wrote a
        series of books about mythical characters called the
        Muggles(TM)and books about Larry Potter, will announce
        re-publication of "The Legend of Rah and the Muggles(TM)" and
        unveil illustrations for it. Thurman House, an affiliate of
        Ottenheimer Publishers, Inc., a 110-year old Baltimore-based
        company, will re-publish the book in a new format this spring.
        Stouffer and J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter books,
        Scholastic Inc., and Time Warner Entertainment, LP, are
        currently involved in litigation in the U.S. District Court
        for the Southern District of New York over intellectual
        property rights which include rights to MUGGLE(TM)and
        MUGGLES.(TM)

WHY:    The agreement between N.K. Stouffer and Thurman House to
        re-publish her original works is a milestone in Stouffer's
        battle to bring her books back to children. Stouffer had found
        many publishers had shied away from her books because of their
        fears about stepping on the toes of Harry Potter. Stouffer
        remains concerned that many people will not understand that
        her books preceded J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series.
