ADVISORY/Mysticom Extends Reach on Multiple Media With Live 10Gbps Demonstrations at Communication Design Conference.News/Assignment Editors & High-Tech Writers Communications Design Conference 2002 ADVISORY...for Tuesday (Sept. 24) --(BUSINESS WIRE)
Who: Mysticom, a leading provider of high-speed communications
solutions
What: Mysticom validates adaptability and superior performance of
its MY3004 with two live demonstrations
The MY3004, a 10 Gigabit Ethernet PHY and Backplane
transceiver, is demonstrating extended data transmission
capabilities and superior performance in two real-world
network environments. The first demonstration displays error
free transmission at 3.125 Gbps over 10 meters of CAT5 cable
and also across a 70" FR4 copper backplane. The second
demonstration, an industry first, will showcase Mysticom's
MY3004 transmitting error free at 3.125 Gbps over 25 meters of
Gore's Infiniband copper cable. The demonstrations validate
the robustness and flexibility of Mysticom's MY3004 as a
viable low cost solution for multiple media including optical.
