) and its members will host a media availability and onsite tour of NCPA's scheduling and dispatch system on Tuesday, June 6 at 10:00 a.m. -- to show how they are working with the California Independent System Operator (CAISO CAISO California Independent System Operator ) to help meet the challenges of increased power demand due to growth in consumption and hot temperatures this summer.

NCPA and CAISO representatives will provide an overview of what California is facing this summer -- and what they are doing to help ensure customers have the power they need when they need it.
