mobile and handheld applications in his panel presentation, "Myths and
Realities in Low Power Designs for Mobile Applications."

Topics examined will include:

    -- Power tradeoffs of embedding memories versus external memories

    -- Optimizing memory size for power consumption

    -- Active versus idle power and leakage control

Jones will also present real-world examples to illustrate the various
low-power options available to the SoC designer. Additional panelists
for this session include Amkor Technology and Samsung.
