    WHAT: Patty Peterson, co-host of WCCO Radio's "Midday Live," will
        emcee the 25th annual Minnesota PRSA Classics Awards.
        Presented to public relations professionals who, in the
        judgment of their peers, have successfully addressed
        challenges with exemplary professionalism, the awards
        recognize Minnesota public relations excellence in business,
        industry, government and non-profit areas.

        The Classics Awards have annually recognized hundreds of local
        businesses and organizations for excellence in public
        relations. The awards program will honor finalists in 44
        categories, announce this year's winners and present the
        coveted Best in Show award. Additionally, four Student
        Classics Awards will be given for exceptional collegiate
        communications programs.

        The event will also formally recognize the recipient of this
        year's Donald G. Padilla Community Classic Award, which honors
        a Minnesotan who has volunteered time and talents in public
        relations for the betterment of community.

        Minnesota PRSA is among the top 10 largest chapters of the
        Public Relations Society of America. The chapter is comprised
        of 530 corporate, agency, non-profit and government public
        relations professionals who are among 20,000 PRSA members
        nationwide.
