Triathlon, presented by Target Stores, offers the world's largest cash purse
($180,000) for an international distance race. Joining Minneapolis Mayor R.T.
Rybak in celebrating this spectacular addition to the newly reorganized
Minneapolis Aquatennial will be Life Time Fitness President and CEO, Bahram
Akradi and Minneapolis Downtown Council President, Sam Grabarski. In addition
to the Life Time Fitness Triathlon, Life Time Fitness will assume the
production duties of the Aquatennial's Torchlight Run in support of the
Downtown Council's efforts to preserve one of the country's most recognized
community celebrations. Also in attendance will be former world record holder
and Olympic Gold Medalist in the 200-meter butterfly, Tom Malchow; Sheila
