WHAT:    National Council of La Raza Conference (NCLR): The NCLR
         conference is the largest gathering of the Hispanic
         community, with attendance expected to exceed 20,000. Dell
         (Nasdaq:DELL) has partnered with NCLR to sponsor this event.

         Fred Montoya, Dell's vice president of worldwide logistics
         and fulfillment is available this week to discuss the event
         and Dell's efforts to close the gap in technology access,
         affordability and technical sophistication among the nation's
         Hispanics.

WHO:     Keynote presentation: Michael Dell is one of the keynote
         speakers during the luncheon on Monday, July 14, 2003.
         Michael will speak from 12:30 p.m. - 1 p.m. CDT, focusing on
         digital inclusion in the main ballroom.

         Panel discussion: Fred Montoya will participate in the
         Technology Town Hall entitled "Technology for Latinos in the
         21st Century" on Monday, July 14, 2003 from 2:30-4 p.m. CDT.

         Supplier diversity workshop: Dell is hosting a supplier
         diversity workshop on Monday, July 14, 2003 from 4:30-6 p.m.
         to actively seek certified Hispanic-owned businesses.

         Cyber Cafe: Dell will have a booth at the Latina Expo from
         Saturday, July 12 - Monday, July 14, featuring Dell's
         desktops and notebooks. The public is welcome to stop by and
         go online.
