Neighborhood Clean-Up Set for June 12 at 8:00 a.m.


   Who: Arden Shank, Executive Director of Miami-Dade Neighborhood
        Housing Services (MDNHS); Maedell Brown, Board Chair of MDNHS;
        Barbara Romani, Director of Community Relations for Citibank
        in Florida; Emilio Fernandez, Business Development Officer for
        Citibank Community Mortgage; and many others.

   Where: June 11 - MDNHS, 181 N.E. 82nd Street, Miami
          June 12 - 8100 N.W. 17th Avenue, Miami

   When: Friday, June 11 -- Check presentation begins at 5:00 p.m.
         Saturday June 12 - Neighborhood clean-up begins at 8:00 a.m.

   What: The Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation (NR) will host its
        2004 annual NeighborWorks Week (June 7-14), an event
        celebrating homeownership and community revitalization. Across
        the U.S., NRC affiliate organizations, like MDNHS, will
        involve residents, elected officials and volunteers in a
        variety of community projects. Citibank is proud to support
        MDNHS and will present the organization with a $20,000 grant
        from the Citigroup Foundation for its homebuyer education
        program. MDNHS specializes in homeownership services including
        homeownership counseling and training, first and second
        mortgage lending, and post purchase services. Citibank
        employee volunteers also will join with MDNHS for a
        neighborhood clean-up project on Saturday, June 12. Citibank
        has partnered with 13 NR affiliates to celebrate NeighborWorks
        Week 2004. In 2004 MDNHS and Citibank have assisted 450
        members of the community through homeownership counseling,
        pre-qualification, pre-approvals, home maintenance training
        programs, and mortgage loan approvals.
