) will join school officials, families of Flight 93 victims and prominent Americans in dedicating a sculpture that it commissioned in honor of the ideals demonstrated by the passengers and crew of United Flight 93 and the response of students, faculty and community to the tragedy and the needs of those most affected in its aftermath. A sculpture will stand in front of the school and bears the handprints of the more than 400 students and many from the faculty and the community. Nine large stones, inscribed in·scribe

In addition, prominent Americans, as well as the victim's families Victim's Family was a hardcore punk band formed in 1984 in Santa Rosa, California by bassist Larry Boothroyd and guitarist and vocalist Ralph Spight. Drummer Devon VrMeer completed the trio. , were asked to recommend book titles that promote the ideals on display in Shanksville that day and the days to follow. Cornell Companies is donating copies of those books to a special memorial collection being established in the school library. A list of the books will be distributed to the media.

Media Notes: Participants will be available for interviews immediately after the ceremony in the school gym. Those who have agreed to be interviewed will be wearing green buttons. We ask you to respect the privacy of those who have chosen not to be interviewed. In order to facilitate your interviews, please note the designated areas in the gym where you will find the artist, the art teacher and kids; the elected officials and school administration; law enforcement and firemen and members of the community, including some of the children who volunteered. Parking will be available from 8:30 AM on Friday. Please park in the area designated for the media.
