WHO:     Members of the media are invited to attend

WHAT:    Festival of Arts/Pageant of the Masters 2002 Annual
         Membership Meeting

WHY:     At this meeting, the Festival of Arts Board of Directors will
         update its members on key Festival of Arts business issues
         and introduce the new Executive Director, Steven L. Brezzo.
         The results of the 2002 election will be announced -- three
         of eight candidates will be selected for board positions.
         Additionally, Pageant of the Masters Director Diane Challis
         Davy will give a preview of highlights from the 2003 Pageant
         program, "Seasons."

         The Festival of Arts Board of Directors, Brezzo and Davy will
         be available for interviews immediately following the
         presentation.

WHEN:    Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002 at 6:30 p.m.

WHERE:   Forum Theater on the Festival of Arts Grounds
         650 Laguna Canyon Road, Laguna Beach, Calif.

         Hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served after the meeting at
         Tivoli Terrace.

         This meeting is not open to the general public; it is open
         only to Festival of Arts members and the media.

         RSVP to the Marketing and Public Relations Department
         at 949/464-4282 no later than Tuesday, Nov. 12. Background on
         Festival of Arts Board candidates and new Executive Director
         are available upon request.
