due to the current situation in the Middle East, this serves as a "Virtual Study Abroad" session that will enable college students in Israel to share their experiences with their U.S. counterparts, including perspectives about the conflict.

WHO: StudyAbroad.com

WHAT: This online chat will connect students from Israel and
Philadelphia and other registered students from around the
world. Talking points will be current events in Israel, the
personal experiences of Israeli students and how American
students at home view the conflict. Of course nothing can
replace a true study abroad environment, but under the current
circumstances, this is the best way for U.S. and Israeli
students to learn more about one another, each other's
cultures and the current political climate in Israel.

WHEN: Monday, May 13, 2002
12:00-1:00 PM EST, 7:00-8:00 PM Israel Time

WHERE: www.StudyAbroad.com

WHY: Most American students planning to study abroad in Israel have
cancelled their plans this year due to the escalating conflict
in the Middle East. This chat will connect college students in
the U.S. and Israel and provide a forum to exchange
perspectives, similar to a study abroad experience in Israel.

HOW: Students may register to participate by visiting
www.studyabroad.com. A banner will direct them to more
information about the chat and instructions on how to
        register.

FOR
THE
MEDIA: Any media interested in participating in the chat or in
securing a photo opportunity of chat members should contact
Joe Mitchell at 610-642-8253. Full transcripts of the
discussion will be available to the press after the event.
