WHAT: United Airlines employees at New York's La Guardia Airport in
conjunction with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey
will bring holiday fantasies to life for children with special
healthcare needs and their families.
The 100 children, ages 5-19, are from area schools and
organizations. They will board a United Airlines plane at
La Guardia Airport for a one-hour flight and land at a secret
airport gate location to visit Santa Claus at the North Pole.
Upon arrival, the children will be greeted by carolers, elves and
sugar plum fairies. They will receive a bag of gifts and have
their pictures taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus on a
wheelchair-accessible sleigh.
WHEN: Wednesday, November 29, 2000

10:30 a.m. - Arrival at the North Pole
