The annual event provides a forum for space professionals to meet and share their knowledge of technical areas and issues facing the space program. The event hosts four days of technical paper and panel sessions, network receptions, Evening with the Astronauts event, Youth Science Fair, and golf tournament.

Under the theme "Determination: Meeting Today's Challenges, Enabling Tomorrow's Vision," this year's Congress will feature leaders from the aerospace community including keynote speaker Gene Cernan, retired US Navy pilot and NASA NASA: see National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
