WHAT:    Mayor Jim Hahn and the Los Angeles Department of Water and
         Power (LADWP) will announce details of a community-based
         project aimed at improving the quality of life from Mission
         Hills to Westchester to Harbor City.

         Joining the Mayor at the press conference will be Los Angeles
         City Council Members, LADWP and Department of Public Works
         officials, city neighborhood and business leaders.
