WHAT:           Los Angeles Mayor Hahn will tour and observe a live
                (i.e., wet) drill by Los Angeles Fire Department
                personnel of a mass casualty decontamination unit that
                would be used in large-scale incidences involving
                people exposed to hazardous materials, biological or
                chemical terrorism, or jet fuel during aircraft
                accident. The unit was purchased by and is housed at
                Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

WHEN:           Tuesday, March 25, 2003

                9 a.m.: Media may arrive early and film LAFD
                        setting up unit

                9:30 a.m.: LAFD Chief Bamattre briefs Mayor during
                           walking tour through mass casualty
                           decontamination unit (media pool will be
                           selected)

                9:45 a.m.: Press conference

                10:15 a.m.: Live/wet drill -- all media can film

WHERE:          LAX Imperial Terminal
                (One block west of Sepulveda Boulevard on Imperial
                 Highway. Turn right on California Street at traffic
                 light.)

VISUALS:        Media pool will film Mayor on tour of unit and all
                media can film the live/wet drill where five volunteer
                "victims" will undergo decontamination process
                involving a series of showers.
