cell. B-roll available showing how the fuel cell works.
Details: The JFB Fuel Cell Power Plant generates 250 kilowatts of
ultra-clean electricity for Los Angeles-enough power to
serve 250 households. Using state-of-the-art technology,
the plant generates its own hydrogen from natural gas,
then combines it with oxygen to create electricity and
heat. Because there is no combustion, the fuel cell
produces significantly less pollutants and is twice as
energy efficient as a conventional fossil fuel power
plant. The model is a DFC300A(R), manufactured by Danbury,
CT-based FuelCell Energy Inc.
